What should I wear?

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire.

Are children invited?

We love your kids, but thought you might like a night off. Adults only please!

Can I bring a guest?

If your invitation includes the name of your significant other or “and guest,” then you are welcome to bring a guest.

Where are you registered?

Thank you for asking! We are registered at Crate & Barrell, Williams Sonoma, and Zola.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

There is a parking lot located at 1091 Porter Street, which is directly across from Most Holy Trinity.

Where should I park for the reception?

SHINOLA HOTEL MAIN ENTRANCE - For guests checking into the Shinola Hotel, valet parking is available at: 1400 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226 (entrance at south side of building on Grand River).

SHINOLA EVENT SPACE ENTRANCE- For guests driving to the wedding and not checking into the Shinola Hotel, valet parking will be available on September 17th beginning at 6:00pm at 1435 Farmer Street, Detroit, MI 48226.

There is also a parking garage down the street from the Shinola Hotel at 1234 Liberty Street.

Will there be a shuttle to/from the Hotel?

There will not be a shuttle to/from the Hotel.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony.
